Board of Directors

Eternea is governed by it's Board of Directors which is currently comprised of:
   

Gary E. Schwartz, Ph.D., is Professor of Psychology, Medicine, Neurology, Psychiatry, and Surgery at the University of Arizona, Tucson. He is also Director of the Laboratory for Advances in Consciousness and Health. In 2002, he created a Center for Frontier Medicine in Biofield Science at the University of Arizona, which he directed for four years. He continues to collaborate on biofield science and energy healing research, serving as Corporate Director of Development of Energy Healing at Canyon Ranch. Dr. Steve Jarecki - is currently serving as Vice-Chairman of Eternea . Dr. Steven Jarecki earned his doctorate in chiropractic from the New York Chiropractic College and a Master of Science from Brooklyn College in health. He is licensed to practice chiropractic care in Florida and New York. He is also certified in clinical acupuncture. Dr. Jarecki is the owner of Jarecki Chiropractic in Delray Beach, Florida. His spouse is Dr. Miri Ingwer who operates an established physical therapy and rehabilitation center in Boca Raton, Florida. He is the proud father of four children. Dr. Jarecki has had several spiritually transformative experiences and non-local consciousness experiences dating back to when he was a young boy.

John R. Audette, M.S. , serves as President & CEO. Mr. Audette holds a Master of Science degree from Virginia Tech. His professional career spans over 35 years of senior executive level experience (non-profit and for-profit) in hospital and hospice administration, physician practice management, public broadcasting and the performing arts. In 1977, he founded the International Association for Near-Death Studies, Inc. (IANDS.org) together with Dr. Raymond Moody, Dr. Kenneth Ring, Dr. Bruce Greyson and Dr. Michael Sabom. Mr. Audette served on active duty in the U.S. Army for nearly four years during the Vietnam era.

Board of Governors

The Board of Governors oversees the day-to-day operations of Eternea. It makes budget and policy recommendations to the Board of Directors. It also recommends research and educational priorities and helps determine both short-term and long-term organizational goals. The Board of Governors has eleven dedicated seats:

  •  International President, Friends of Eternea;
  •  International President, Onederful-World Society;
  •  International President, the Convergence Coalition;
  •  International President, the Frontier Science Forum;
  •  Eternea's Co-Founder & Chief Science Officer (Eben Alexander, MD);
  •  Eternea's Chairman, Dr. Gary Schwartz;
  •  Eternea's Co-Founder and President & CEO (John R. Audette, MS);
  •  Chairperson Scientific Leadership Council;
  •  Chairperson SynerGe Council;
  •  Chairperson Spirituality Leadership Council;
  •  Chairperson Corporate Council;

Friends of Eternea, the Board of Governors, the Convergence Coalition and the Frontier Science Forum make budget and policy recommendations and hey also recommend research and educational priorities and help determine both short-term and long-term organizational goals to Eternea's Board of Directors.

Members of Friends of Eternea elect their officers annually at the local, state, national and international levels. Members of the Board of Governors Guild elect their officers annually at the local, state, national and international levels. Members of the Convergence Coalition elect their officers annually at the local, state, national and international levels. Members of the Frontier Science Forum elect their officers annually at the local, state, national and international levels. Election of all officers takes place at the annual meeting of Eternea.

The STE Council and the Consciousness Council make budget and policy recommendations to Eternea's Frontier Science Forum. They also recommend research and educational priorities and help determine both short-term and long-term organizational goals to the Frontier Science Forum. Election of all Council officers takes place at the annual meeting of Eternea.
